The guilt you lament so effectively is familiar to me. When we were kids, we could protest the immoral Viet Nam war in the streets. Now, as grandfathers, we can still make a difference against McCain's "100 more years in Iraq" by sending the biggest check we can to Obama or Clinton, and by cajoling anyone who will listen on-line to do the same.
